Photographing the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers Basketball
June finished and July started with an exciting assignment for the Melbourne Sports Photography team - covering the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers at John Cain Arena. The tournament featured teams from Australia, China, Chinese Taipei, and Japan.
There was some terrific basketball across multiple games. It was great to see the games well attended and the support for the team from China, with several international stars, was notable.
The Australian Boomers were naturally popular with the home crowd and performed well across the series. They were undefeated.
For the Melbourne Sports Photography team, our photographers are possibly the only ones in Melbourne who have shot under 12's through to national teams in basketball over the last 3 months. The game is the same, but the photography challenge is quite different, and we have enjoyed it all!
Many people have commented that they like the images from the FIBA World Cup Qualifier tournament. Thank you for the support!
Thank You Coburg Giants Basketball Club
The Melbourne Sports Photography team have enjoyed working with the Coburg Giants Basketball Club this season. First, it was for team photos for all the VJBL and Big V teams, and more recently with action shots from Big V games. The club's green / teal uniform looks terrific in both.
We are currently working through some late team photo orders and will have them printed and delivered in the next couple of weeks.
Thank you for working with Melbourne Sports Photography. We hope you are having a great season, and that the work we are doing for you is adding to the success of the club.

Shooting Action Images with Camberwell Sharks
The team at Melbourne Sports Photography are looking forward to seeing the junior footy players at Camberwell Sharks in action again soon.
Starting in May 2022 we will be back at Lynden Park photographing the Sharks games. The partnership between Sharks and Melbourne Sports Photography started in 2019, and we are excited to be back to capture all the action again this year.
See you soon Camberwell Sharks!
Lots of Team Photos
It's great to see life returning to semi normal after 2 years disrupted by coronavirus lockdowns in Melbourne. It's especially great to see kids back playing sport, keeping, fit, making friends, competing, and learning about playing as a team. For the Melbourne Sports Photography team a busy start to 2022 has meant lots of team photos for sports clubs.
We are now taking bookings for winter sports clubs. If you would like more details, please reach out via the Contact page here on the Melbourne Sports Photography website.
We aim to make it easy for you by bringing lighting and backgrounds, experienced photographers, doing designs specifically for your club, and making the process easy with online ordering systems. If you would like some help with your clubs team photos, please reach out today.
