This year the Southern Peninsula Junior Basketball Tournament is being held over the weekend of 16 & 17 November, and Melbourne Sports Photography will be there to photograph the action.

What is the Southern Peninsula Junior Basketball Tournament?

The Southern Peninsula Tournament is an annual event held in November, just before the start of the VJBL rep basketball season. Last year the tournament featured 440 teams and was held at 14 stadiums and 34 courts around the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. Those numbers speak for themselves - it is a big tournament and a great way for teams to have a hit out before the rep season begins.

2019 will be bigger than last year, with more than 4000 players competing across 15 stadiums and 35 courts. 

Melbourne Sports Photography will have a team of photographers to shoot 100+ games and 150+ teams across all divisions.

Where Can we Find the Images?

The images will be available on the Melbourne Sports Photography website in the week after the tournament (we are aiming to have all images uploaded by Thursday 21 November 2019). They will be in password protected galleries based on age group. The password will be emailed to you by the tournament organizers.

What Can we Buy?

Images will be available to purchase as digital downloads and physical prints. Prices start at $8, and our most popular product - the high resolution digital download - will be just $10.

Will all Teams and Players be Covered?

Unfortunately, Melbourne Sports Photography won't be able to photograph everyone due to the scale of the tournament. We expect to cover 100+ games and 150+ teams across the weekend.
