Getting Through Melbourne Stage 4 Restrictions
Hello Melbourne! We are past half way through the 6 week level 4 restriction period. Hooray! Let's hope the virus is under control and there is no need to extend or reintroduce level 4 restrictions, and that we can get back to sports soon.
For those that have been in contact - thank you for reaching out to the team at Melbourne Sports Photography. We have been significantly impacted by the absence of sports, as have many other businesses. We briefly thought we might be starting shooting junior football just a few weeks ago, and 5 days before the delayed season start that all came to an abrupt end. We're sure that would have been very disappointing for the players, as it was for us. We hope the short term absence of sport helps to contribute to the long term health and well being of the community.
If there is anything we can do to help you, please let us know. In the meantime, enjoy the half time break, and be encouraged we are into the second half of the level 4 restrictions. Keep smiling. Stay healthy. Sport will be back.
Sports Team Photos

- Organise logistics for the shooting days based on the location you have selected
- Look after photo print ordering and payment
- Conduct the shoots
- Post production, naming of photos, and print production
- Deliver the final prints to your club in team packs ready to be distributed to your players and families

Hawthorn Magic 2020 Team Photos
A lot has happened since the Melbourne Sports Photography team shot the Hawthorn Magic team photos at the end of February and the beginning of March 2020. Melbourne Sports Photography post production team had a busy few weeks editing images and organizing prints, while at the same time the coronavirus impacted sports and there has been no basketball. The good news is the restrictions in Victoria are easing, and each day we are getting closer to community sport returning. Hooray!
More good news for Hawthorn Magic players and families - we delivered your prints to Basketball Hawthorn a few weeks ago, and they are now ready to be collected from Basketball Hawthorn office by your Team Manager.

Navigating Challenging Times
Like many businesses, Melbourne Sports Photography is facing challenging times due to the impact of the coronavirus. We shoot large sporting events and tournaments - all of which are currently postponed or cancelled. Our pipeline of events booked in the diary has completely evaporated. How long will this be for? We wish we knew (!) and are taking steps to make sure Melbourne Sports Photography is there for you when sport returns.
In the very short term we are still available to work with individual athletes, where we can observe the government protocols around social distancing and making sure we play our part in 'flattening the curve'. We have time on our hands, please get in touch if we can help you.
We can also provide access to older images we have shot. If you are looking for a present for the athlete in your life, there are currently very good deals available on canvas prints and other products. Drop us an email if you would like us to re-open an old gallery, or if we can help with your print products.
